Upper and lower endoscopy, and case-based endoscopic intervention form the basis of the curriculum.  Foreign body management, diagnostic upper endoscopy, and advanced techniques will also be addressed.  \nThe program offers a unique hands-on training session using ex-vivo animal models at the ASGE's Institute for Training and Technology (IT&T).  The course begins on Saturday morning with didactic sessions, and hands-on or interactive video sessions follow in the afternoon.  A fellows/faculty networking reception completes day one.
