However, fellows will be responsible for covering their own hotel (2 night stay) and travel expenses (including airfare and ground transportation) to and from the course. A credit card is required to reserve a sleeping room and will be used for guarantee purposed only.\nASGE is continuing its tradition of offering a comprehensive review of endoscopic technique and clinical management for fellows in their first year of a US-based GI fellowship. Upper and lower endoscopy, and case-based endoscopic intervention form the basis of the curriculum. Foreign body management, diagnostic upper endoscopy, and advanced techniques will also be addressed. \nThe program offers a unique hands-on training session using ex-vivo animal models at the ASGE's Institute for Training and Technology (IT&T). The course begins on Saturday morning with didactic sessions, and hands-on or interactive video sessions follow in the afternoon. A fellows/faculty networking reception completes day one. On Sunday, the hands-on or interactive video sessions continue until mid-day. \n\nBusiness casual attire is appropriate for all functions.\n

This intensive two-day course will take the advanced practice endoscopist from theory to hands-on practice, discussing and demonstrating the fine points of the technique.
